Tom founded SNIP Collier in 2013 after understanding the need for low-cost and improved spay/neuter services in Collier County. Tom is the heart and soul of this organization. EVERY day he is in the field rescuing both dogs and cats, educating pet owners, and working with our county to create better laws and enforcement for the sake of these animals. With over 20 years of experience in the Collier County rescue community, Tom understands the problems and believes SNIP's efforts truly can be the solution.

Katelyn has been working at SNIP Collier for over two years now. When she first came across what SNIP Collier stood for and its missions and goals, she knew it was the perfect place for her own passions and goals to align with. Not a day has gone by in Katelyn's life when she hasn't surrounded herself with animals; she has been in the animal care career for several years and she has always had her own as well. It has always been a passion of mine to work
with animals and here at SNIP she is able to do so, while also assisting and promoting the rescue of them as well. Katelyn has three rambunctious cats of her own and she also owns a furry ferret, and if she had the means to she would take in even more!
Terri joined our team, as a dedicated volunteer, in February of 2024 as a Certified Veterinarian Technician with 15 years experience. Terri has a B.S. degree in Public Health, an A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology, and also attends continuing education lectures to stay up-to-date on the latest information.

When she’s not at SNIP, Sharlene enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, and training her newly adopted puppy. (Thank you, SNIP!) Sharlene has been committed to animal welfare for years as she’s spent the last four volunteering with the Naples Cat Alliance. Her volunteer work has allowed her to contribute to the rescue and care of countless cats over the years, and ultimately get them to their forever homes.
