At SNIP Collier, we believe that every animal deserves a loving home. While adoption isn't our main mission, at times we have puppies, dogs, kittens & cats available for adoption. Our team of dedicated volunteers and staff work tirelessly to ensure that our animals receive the best care possible before going to their forever homes.
Step 1: Fill out the Animal Adoption Application linked below and email it to fosterandadopt@snipcollier.org
Step 2: Our team of volunteers will review and process your application, completing a vet & landlord check if applicable.
Step 3: We will schedule an informal phone interview to review your application in more detail & discuss our adopables.
Step 4: We will arrange a Meet & Greet and complete a Home Check.
Step 5: Adoption Time!
Shona is a graceful and independent adult cat with a love for adventure and exploration. While she enjoys her moments of solitude, Shona is also a warm and affectionate companion. A bit of a wanderer, Shona has a playful side that emerges during her daily zoomies around the house, and she’s always ready to chase a feather toy or bat at a string. Her favorite pastimes include sunbathing by the window in her cat tree, watching birds outside, and occasionally showing off her hunting skills (even if it’s just with a toy mouse). Due to suspected allergies and a skin condition, Shona is on a prescription diet and medication. Please contact our clinic for more information about Shona.
George is a 6-7 month old charming bundle of fur with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. He was originally treated as a feral cat through our TNR program but considering his poor health condition, we decided to take George in, nurse him back to good health, and give him the live he deserves.
With a tail that never stops swishing and a purr that could melt the iciest heart, George lives for adventure, snuggles, and the occasional dramatic zoomie across the living room. Whether he's chasing sunbeams, batting at toys with wild abandon, or curling up beside you for a cozy nap, George brings joy and laughter to every moment. He's curious, cuddly, and just the right amount of mischievous — a true feline friend who turns any house into a home.
Mama Gem was rescued by Tom as a stray in Immokalee. When he brought her into the clinic for an intake exam, we had high suspicions that she was pregnant... Sure enough, a few days after being with her foster family, she gave birth to two healthy puppies named Copper and Topaz! Gem is a tiny girl with a big personality and gets along great with other dogs and loves people. Once her puppies are independent, she will be spayed and ready for adoption. Copper and Topez will also be ready for their forever homes once they are spayed and neutered which will be when they are at least 2 months and 2 pounds. Stay tuned!
Our founder, Tom, got an urgent call from a good Samaritan about a mom dog and her puppies that made their home underneath a trailer in Immokalee. Tom responded right away and was able to safely rescue Queen and all SEVEN of her puppies who were only a few days old at the time. They were brought into the clinic to be vetted and are now thriving in a wonderful foster home.
Queen has a loving, playful personality and is potty trained, loves people and kids, and is good with other dogs, but can be a little protective over her babies (which is understandable.) She will be ready for a forever home once her puppies are weaned off and she is spayed. Once the puppies are at least 2 months old and 2 pounds, they will be spayed and neutered and will be ready for adoption as well. Stay tuned!
A Little Mischief & A Lot of Fun: Midnight loves to tease his foster sisters and has a playful, jokester side that will keep you smiling. He’s always up for some fun, whether it’s a game of chase or a little gentle “paw-swipe” to get your attention.
· Not Your Typical Lap Kitty: Midnight is a bit too “macho” for lap snuggles, but that doesn’t mean he’s not affectionate! He’s more of a “hang out and chat” kind of guy. He’s friendly, social, and loves being around people.
· Head Tilt Extraordinaire: One of Midnight’s most adorable features is his slight head tilt, which only makes him look even cuter. It gives him a unique, endearing look that will melt your heart every time.
· The Social Butterfly: If you’re looking for a cat who loves attention and isn’t afraid to show it, Midnight’s your guy. He’s never shy and will be the first one to greet you when you come home!
Our adoption donation request helps cover expenses for the spay or neuter surgery and microchip prior to adoption. SNIP also ensures that all animals are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, and current on heartworm and anti-flea preventative.
