Jose joined the SNIP Collier team as the Practice Manager in May of 2023, bringing a profound passion for animal welfare. My career in the Veterinary field started in 1995 as a kennel technician for a small vet clinic in his hometown of Queens NYC. Jose became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2001 and has worked in General Practice and Specialty Practices but found his true passion in Animal Welfare in 2007 when he joined his first non-for-profit animal welfare organization. Jose's experiences going through all of his different roles in veterinary medicine have enriched his understanding of animal care and advocacy. Joe & his wife (who is also an LVT) recently learned that they are terrible foster parents; in the past year they've fostered 2 dogs and 2 cats and been foster failures each time! Jose's last 3 foster failures were rescues he got through SNIP Collier. These 4 new rescues plus our 17yr old rescue cat from BKLYN NY make up their very busy little family. Jose is excited to be part of the leadership team at SNIP Collier as we grow our roots deeper into the community and continue to build our organization!

Diana is a veterinary Assistants at Snip Collier. She started in the animal field a year and a half ago and she joined the SNIP team in June of 2023. Before joining SNIP, Diana worked at Domestic Animal Services as a kennel Technician and customer service representative. What motivated her to be in this profession is the love and admiration she has for animals. Working on the medical side of shelter medicine gives her the opportunity to help animals and spread awareness. In her free time, she spends quality time with a friendly stray cat that she met a few months ago in her neighborhood, which she named Bobby, he is super sweet. Diana likes to contribute her grain of sand and help any animal that needs it. Since starting at SNIP she has had the opportunity to help Tom out in the field, rescuing animals and she has volunteered at a few SNIP fundraising events. Earlier this year, Diana got the amazing opportunity to volunteer at a 3 days spay/neuter event, back in her home country. She was able to be a part of a team that fixed 1,382 animals. Diana's goal is to keep helping the cause, be the voice of the animals in need, educate people of the importance of spay/neuter and adopting. She is beyond grateful to be part of the team and excited to see some of you at the clinic with your furry friends!

Katelyn has been working at SNIP Collier for over a year now. When she first came across what SNIP Collier stood for and its missions and goals, she knew it was the perfect place for her own passions and goals to align with. Not a day has gone by in Katelyn's life when she hasn't surrounded herself with animals; she has been in the animal care career for several years and she has always had her own as well. It has always been a passion of mine to work
with animals and here at SNIP she is able to do so, while also assisting and promoting the rescue of them as well. Katelyn has three rambunctious cats of her own and she also owns a furry ferret, and if she had the means to she would take in even more!
